8.1.1. Introduction

GENERAL INFORMATION

Respect for purity at work on fuel system

At work on fuel system follow the following rules concerning ensuring purity.

Carefully clear places of connections and their environment before their separation.

Stack the dismantled details on a pure laying and cover them. Apply a film or paper. Do not apply fleecy rags!

Carefully cover assembly details or close them on a turn-key basis if repair is made not soon.

Only just before assembly take out spare details from packing. Establish only pure details.

Do not apply details which were stored in an unpacked look (for example, in toolboxes, etc.).

At open fuel system, whenever possible, do not work with compressed air. Try not to move the car.

Discharge and fuelling

Prevention

Surely pay attention to good aeration of a workplace. Vapors of fuel are poisonous, avoid use of naked flame because of risk of fire!

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In addition make a single run at the expense of the fuel which is available in a tank.
2. Disconnect a weight(s) wire from the accumulator.
Prevention

At the same time the anticreeping code of radio is erased.

3. Raise the car.
4. Reduce pressure of vapors of fuel. For this purpose quickly open a cover of a bulk mouth of the fuel tank.
5. Remove the protection cover from the fuel level sensor. Pay attention to that electric wires or a hose for fuel discharge were not clamped.
6. Remove the plug from the fuel level sensor.
7. Unscrew a carving stopper of the drain valve.
8. Twist a drain hose together with the locking valve in the drain gate.
9. Open a cover of a bulk mouth of the fuel tank, open the locking valve and merge fuel in suitable capacity.
10. Take a drain hose and screw up a carving stopper with m 15 N.' moment. Previously check a sealing ring of round section for damages, if necessary, replace it.
11. Get the plug on the fuel level sensor, mount the protection cover.
12. Lower the car (remove a jack).
13. Fill in fuel through a bulk branch pipe. Pay attention that dirt particles did not get to the fuel tank.
14. Close the fuel tank a cover.
15. Connect a weight wire to the rechargeable battery. Determine time. Enter an anticreeping code of radio.
16. Start the engine and check tightness of all connections.
