Repair and operation of the car

As from below the car the detachment of some details is possible, four steady supports which are applied also to a jack support are necessary. Before work in a motor compartment protect car wings a covering. The forward cowl at dismantle of the engine is not removed.

The engine can be dismantled also without transmission. At the same time points designated (*) do not need to be carried out. Prop up the transmission a repair jack and wooden intermediate laying, then weaken connecting bolts the engine / transmission and wring out the engine from the transmission mount.

Depending on year of release and model of the car electric wires, hoses of depression and cooling liquid can be laid in a motor compartment differently. Before a detachment of the corresponding wire designate it an adhesive tape. Below dismantle of the 4-cylinder engine is described, at dismantle of 6-cylinder – act on sense.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To open a cowl, pull the basic lever (3) on the left support of a cowl in the direction of an arrow and slightly raise a cowl that the lock lever was not fixed. Take the lock lever from the right support of a cowl and establish a cowl vertically. Prevention The left lock lever has to be fixed in the top clamp. 2. Remove a covering (1) from a forward wall of a body. For this purpose unscrew a nut with a nakatny head (a) and release a rivet with a notch (b). 3. Disconnect a weight(s) wire from the rechargeable battery. Prevention At the same time the anticreeping code of radio is erased. 4. Disconnect the positive wire passing from the battery socket to the engine from the accumulator stretch it through the dividing partition and put on the engine. 5. Disconnect shtekkerny connection (X27/5) of the switch of pressure of oil. 6. Unscrew a wire (30) from the socket. 7. If there is a measuring instrument of mass of air, remove it. 8. Disconnect all hoses of depression which go to the engine. For example:      – hose(s) of depression of the valve of regeneration;      – a depression hose to the right of an inlet pipe;      – a hose of depression of the amplifier of braking from an inlet pipe. 9. Disconnect a gas cable. 10. Open for a while a cover of the fuel tank and reduce excessive pressure in fuel system. 11. Disconnect all electric wires conducting to the engine. For simplification of the subsequent installation previously mark wires an adhesive tape. For example:      – disconnect shtekkerny connection from a lambda probe on a forward wall of a body;      – 2,2 l: dismantle a monitor covering behind a forward wall of a body, previously remove a plastic cover of a connector of wires;      – 1,8/2,0 l: remove the mnogoshtyrkovy socket and the position sensor of the crankshaft, and also the depression pipeline from the PMS device;      – disconnect separate wires from a block on the left wing, previously having uncovered a block;      – disconnect shtekkerny connection from a tempomat;      – unscrew the weights cable from the holder of the block of hydraulics;      – conditioner: disconnect an electric wire from the conditioner compressor. 12. Disconnect the cable socket and take wires from holders. 13. Designate pipelines of fuel (17/2) and (17/3) an adhesive tape and remove from the distributor of fuel (17). Previously disconnect hoses with clips. Prevention Enclose a rag as at the same time fuel follows. 14. Select the suitable syringe hydraulic oil from a tank of the amplifier of steering. 15. Unscrew hoses and close traffic jams. 16. Unscrew a recirculation hose (28) and a hose of high pressure (29) for servorulevy management. In cars with adjustment on height the hose of high pressure (26) and an oil pipeline (27) for the double-circuit pump in addition unscrew. 17. Raise the car. 18. Remove the lower covering of a motor compartment. 19. Remove the fan with the hydraulic coupling. 20. Merge cooling liquid from a radiator. 21. Disconnect hoses of cooling liquid of a head of the block of cylinders behind and from the pump of cooling liquid in front. Previously weaken collars of fastening of hoses and disconnect completely. 22. Remove a radiator. Prevention For cars with the conditioner at once after dismantle of a radiator install a protective cover on the condenser.
