8.2.9. Oxygen sensor (lambda probe)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the right protection cover behind a forward wall of a cabin.
2. Dismantle on a forward wall of a cabin shop with wires. For this purpose extend an expansion pin.
3. Separate shtekkerny connection from the oxygen sensor (shooter).
4. Extend the electric line with the rubber plug through a forward wall of a cabin and disconnect it from a spring clip on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Unscrew the oxygen sensor (G3/2) from a final collector.
6. At the 6-cylinder engine the oxygen sensor is installed in the forward final gas pipeline in front of the catalyst.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease a carving of the oxygen sensor with high-temperature lubricant paste, for example, of Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC, and screw in the sensor with m 55 N.' moment.
2. Stretch the electric line through a forward wall of a cabin. Connect the shtekkerny socket.
3. Fix the line in a spring clip on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Establish on a forward wall of a cabin shop with wires and record it an expansion pin.
5. Install the right protection cover behind a forward wall of a cabin.
