1.10. Engine cowl
GENERAL INFORMATION

To open

Use the lever (1) under the dashboard. At the same time the handle will jump out of a radiator cover. To pull out it against the stop and to open a cowl (do not pull for the handle (2)). At the same time janitors should not be lifted.

To close

To lower a cowl at the left (in the direction of the movement), watching that it got correctly to the lock.

Prevention

At an open cowl and the working engine there is a danger of a trauma. Cars with the petrol engine have electronic system of ignition. Because of high voltage do not concern any parts of system of ignition during the operation of the engine, at start of the engine, at situation 2 keys in the lock of ignition and when the engine is manually turned.
