To avoid the damages connected with short circuits and overloads in lines and consumers of electric system, separate electric chains are protected by fuses. Safety locks with knife contacts so usual (traditional) safety locks can be not applied any more are applied.

Safety locks mainly are placed in one block of safety locks and the relay which is at the left behind in a motor compartment. |

The second block of safety locks is in a luggage carrier in front of the rechargeable battery. Before replacement of a safety lock every time at first disconnect the corresponding consumer. |
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Uncover the block of safety locks. |
|
2. The fused safety lock is determined by the metal strips melted on walls. Safety locks of two modifications are built in: "and" – from 7, 5 to 30 A, "in" – 30 and 40 And. |

3. Take a faulty safety lock. For extraction of safety locks use the plastic tweezers which are in a set of the tool attached to the car. |
4. Insert the new safety lock calculated on the same current. The rated current is beaten out on the boss of a safety lock. Besides, the boss at safety locks "and" has distinctive coloring by which it is also possible to determine rated current (See the table). |
5. Again cover protective the block of safety locks. |
6. If again inserted safety lock later short time fuses again, it is necessary to check the corresponding electric chain. |
7. Do not replace a safety lock at all with a wire or similar auxiliary material because it can cause serious damages to electric system. |
8. We recommend to have constantly in the car several spare safety locks. For their preservation in the main unit of safety locks there are several holders. |
9. Instruction: location of safety locks depends on equipment and year of release of the car, actual position of safety locks is given on a cover of the block of safety locks and in the operation manual. |
