9.1.3. Coupling check


1. Remove the transmission.
2. One by one weaken fixing bolts of a press clutch plate respectively on 1–1,5 turns until the disk is weakened press.


If fixing bolts at once get out completely, then the dish-shaped spring can be damaged.

3. That at the same time when weakening bolts the flywheel did not turn, stop it the screw-driver.
4. After that completely unscrew bolts.
5. Take press a disk and a clutch plate.

At extraction do not drop them, otherwise after assembly there can be difficulties connected with pulling and separation of coupling.

6. Blow compressed air a flywheel inside or wipe it the rag moistened in gasoline.


1. Check press a clutch plate for lack of cracks of a perezhog and scratches.
2. Survey a dish-shaped spring on lack of cracks.
3. Check ledges of a dish-shaped spring (arrow) for wear and uniformity of height, if necessary carefully level them pincers.


Wear can make at most 0,3 mm.

4. Check a flywheel for lack of cracks of a perezhog and scratches.
5. Process press a clutch plate a rough grinding skin.
6. Replace the clutch plates which are made oily, covered with jellied lubricant or mechanically damaged.
7. Measure thickness of overlays of a clutch plate. New: 3,6-4,0 mm from each party of a slip. If the wear limit in 2,6-3,0 mm on each party of a frictional slip is already reached, replace a clutch plate. Also arrive in the presence of cracks on frictional slips.
8. Check lock bolts, depreciation windows, springs of torsion and the plug (arrows) for lack of wear tracks and grinding in.
9. Remove and check the bearing of the coupling of switching off of coupling from a tubular support on a forward cover of the transmission.
10. In auto repair shop it is possible to check a clutch plate for a beating. The side beating at a clutch plate can make at most 0,5 mm.

This check is required only if it is necessary to establish an old clutch plate and coupling again earlier was incorrectly switched off.


1. Get a clutch plate and press a clutch plate on a flywheel and center them a connecting midstream or the aligning HAZET 2174 tool.


At engines with a two-case flywheel the gear wreath of a clutch plate проникелирован and therefore does not need lubricant.

2. One by one consistently tighten fixing bolts to a press clutch plate on 1–1,5 turns until press the disk to the full is not fixed. Inhaling moment: 25 N. of m. Then remove the central mandrel.

Pay attention to that when tightening bolts press the disk evenly and without agnails was involved in a flywheel.

3. Mount the transmission.
