Tires of the balanced wheels wear out approximately evenly on all racetrack of a protector at conscientious observance of the ordered pressure of inflating and at the correct installation of provision of wheels and normal functioning of shock-absorbers. At uneven wear of tires see technical diagnosing of malfunctions in the corresponding chapter. It is impossible to make a certain conclusion about durability of tire products as the term of their service depends on various factors:

 – roadbed surfaces;
 – air pressure in beefy tires;
 – mode of the movement;
 – weather (weather conditions).

First of all, at the sports mode of the movement, sharp dispersal and strong braking of the tire are exposed to bystry wear.


Bodies of traffic police demand that tires wore out only up to the depth of flutes of the tire-tread drawing in 1,6 mm, namely, flutes of the tire-tread drawing have to have depth not less than 1,6 mm on all racetrack of a protector. However for the purpose of safety we recommend to replace tires already with a height of the drawing of a protector not less than 2 mm.

If height of the drawing of a protector approaches the estimated admissible depth of flutes of the tire-tread drawing i.e. if the wear indicator located in any point of a circle of the tire does not fix the tire-tread drawing any more, then tires have to be replaced.

M + S – tires of cars for driving on dirty and snow-covered roads with the special drawing of a protector make sufficient impact on dirt and snow only if their tire-tread drawing still has depth not less than 4 mm.

Investigate the tire on existence of places of cuts and by means of the small screw-driver establish depth of cuts. If cuts reach a tire framework, then because of the getting water the steel cord of the radial tire is exposed to corrosion. Thanks to it under the known conditions the racetrack of a protector comes off a framework and the tire is broken off. Therefore for safety replace the tire at deep cuts in the drawing of a protector.
