1. Designate paint the provision of forward wheels in relation to a nave. Thanks to it the balanced wheel after removal comes back to the same situation. Release bolts of wheels before raising of the car. Put the car in front on supports and remove forward wheels. |
|
2. Screw a brake disk on a nave a wheel bolt (43a), having inserted it into the opening located opposite to an adjusting bolt (9k). |
3. Carefully the screw-driver wring out brake shoes from a brake disk. |
|
4. Remove a nave cap (9e) by means of a stripper (023) or bring down him the rubber hammer. |
|
5. Check a gap by a pulling and cave-in of a flange hands. Before each attempt turn a nave a little. |
6. The axial gap is measured in workshops by means of adaptation having the hour indicator of small movements as the sensor. The sensor is installed with deepening of a measuring rod of 2 mm. The preset value of the correct gap makes 0,01–0,02 mm.
Prevention
In the course of separate measurement, giving a flange on an axis there and back, it is impossible to turn a nave.
|
|
7. Release a bolt with an internal hexagon (9i). |
8. Put the cutting clamp at simultaneous rotation of a nave until it is impossible to turn it more. Then release a nut on 1/3 turns and blow of the plastic hammer to an axis (5a) weaken a tightness. Measure a gap. |
9. If necessary repeat installation of a gap. Mercedes orders installation of a gap by means of the hour indicator. However in practice (when there is no the indicator) the gap is considered correct if the washer under a cutting nut with some effort can be displaced to and fro by means of the screw-driver. If a washer it is not possible to get moving forward, it is necessary to wring out or release a cutting nut. |
10. Tighten a bolt with an internal hexagon on a cutting nut with 8 N.' moment of m and once again check a gap of bearings. |
|
11. Otbortovka (shooter) fill a nave cap high-temperature lubricant for bearings in number of about 15 g to the brim. |
12. Put into place a nave cap by means of special adaptation 025 or fill the rubber hammer.
Prevention
Surely replace the beaten cap as through joint thinnesses moisture gets into the bearing owing to what it quickly collapses.
|
13. Unscrew a wheel bolt on a brake disk. |
14. Put on a wheel, observing the marking of its former situation which is earlier put with paint. Screw a wheel. Lower the car on wheels and in a crosswise order tighten wheel bolts with m 110 N.' moment. |
15. Repeatedly press on a brake pedal that brake shoes rose into position. |
